She is a true cat lover.

Hand Feeding and Patting Cats

Hi there! I’m Joanna, and I’m crazy about cats!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet! If you love cats as much as I do (especially the wild and wonderful feral ones), you’re in the right place.

My Feline Adventure

Let me tell you, life took an unexpected turn during the COVID-19 pandemic. That’s when I fell head over heels into the world of feral cat care. It’s been four fantastic years since then, with two and a half years dedicated to the art of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). And boy, what a journey it’s been!

What I’ve Been Up To

  • I’ve helped over 70 cats through TNR (and counting!)
  • I’m the proud caretaker of two feral colonies with 13 furry residents
  • I love lending a helping hand (or paw) to other colonies whenever I can

My Feline Fascinations

  • Cracking the code of feral cat behavior (they’re such characters!)
  • Keeping our furry friends healthy on a budget
  • Mastering the art of trapping even the wiliest of cats
  • Spreading the feline love in my community

The Real Talk: It’s Not Always Purr-fect

I’ll be honest with you – this work isn’t always cuddles and purrs. There have been nights when sleep eluded me, my mind racing with worry over a sick cat or a difficult situation I’d witnessed. I’ve seen things that have broken my heart and faced challenges that tested my resolve.

But you know what? These tough moments have only strengthened my commitment. They remind me why this work is so important and why I need to keep going, even when it’s hard. Every cat helped, every small victory, makes those sleepless nights worth it.

Why I Do What I Do

Despite the challenges, that warm, fuzzy feeling I get when I help these amazing feral cats is unbeatable. I’ve seen firsthand how TNR can transform not just the lives of cats, but entire communities. It’s like magic, even on the toughest days!

What Gets Me Out of Bed Every Morning

  1. Giving feral cats the chance to live their best nine lives
  2. Showing my neighbors how awesome (and important) feral cats are
  3. Sharing all the cool cat stuff I’ve learned with fellow feline fans

Whether you’re a seasoned TNR pro or just starting to notice the cats in your neighborhood, I’m here to chat, share tips, and maybe swap a few funny (and sometimes not-so-funny) cat stories. Together, we can make the world a little bit better for our feral feline friends, one cat at a time.

So, grab a cup of coffee (or catnip tea?), and let’s talk cats – the good, the bad, and the furry!
